This stunning Helene vintage lace dress in black, we believe based on measurements is probably a size 8, is an amazing and elegant timeless piece. Originating from a small fashion design house at 31 New Bond Street London W1 we believe it dates from the late 1950’s and was probably made in house as a one off piece. There are no care or fabric labels. It features gorgeous lace – probably nylon/rayon or acetate based fabric – over a satin effect fabric – again probably nylon/acetate. Three quarter length sleeves, subtle v neck, full skirt skimming from a smooth waistline, rear metal zip and statement oversized bows on the hips. Midi in length it’s styling provides an amazingly dramatic and elegant silhouette. Perfect for special occasions, it features intricate lace detailing that adds an elegant touch. The dress is in very good used condition and we suggest specialist dry cleaning to maintain its quality.
