Like many couples you may be looking at alternative ways of celebrating your wedding. Charity themes and gifts which help someone less fortunate are growing in popularity – particularly more so where the happy couple are already living together so don’t really need gifts for themselves. Wedding favours are a great way to thank your guests for attending the big day and are ideal for incorporating into a general theme.
Cancer Research UK are the latest charity to introduce a dedicated wedding favour idea – personalised favour cards and pin badges in return for a donation to the charity’s funds.
For a minimum donation of £1 per guest Cancer Research UK will provide a personalised table card saying that a donation has been made on the guest’s behalf, together with a special pin badge.
This is a unique promotion and is part of the charity’s wider Give in Celebration campaign which encourages couples to ask for donations rather than a traditional wedding gift.
