Wedding Dresses at John Lewis

To kick-off the new wedding season John Lewis have begun to stock a selection of full length bridal dresses, maxis and proms from Phase Eight – a London based fashion house specialising in elegant but fashionable women’s wear. They also stock a wide selection of wedding outfits from Coast, French Connection and many leading designer brands which are suitable for bridesmaids, guests and less formal wedding outfits.

Phase Eight Kate Ivory Wedding Dress – with a simple but elegant multi-layered design this fully lined maxi dress from Phase Eight is a real stunner . The back incorporates a discreet pull-out train for added effect. In sizes 8 to 18 – £295

Damsel In A Dress Kate Wedding Dress, Cream – stunning silk and satin empire line wedding gown, hand finished with pearl bead trim. The discreet fish-tail train is a nice touch. In sizes 8 to 16 – £350

Paloma is an intricately detailed vintage style dress available in sizes 8 to 18. The dress is priced at £450 and is selling out fast – which is no surprise really because it’s a stunner!

The John Lewis wedding collection has been popular so far but many lines sell out quickly which has caused disappointment with some. It’s hoped that eventually the ‘powers that be’ at John Lewis will realise the demand there is out there for affordable designer style wedding wear and build up the range accordingly – we’ll see?
